We're (un)Jaded

A mental health and service organization intended to destigmatize mental health and encourage social advocacy amongst the AAPI community. (un)Jaded recognizes the need for a culturally aware space that is committed to celebrating Asian identities, addressing intersectional issues, and promoting greater community involvement. Membership is open to self-identified Asians, Pacific Islanders, Asian Americans, and allies attending the University of Texas at Austin.

Our Values

Mental Health

Radical wellness.

  • Destigmatizing mental health in the AAPI community and beyond through research and education.
  • Providing affordable, accessible, and diversified resources for all.

Social Advocacy

Open conversation.

  • Addressing community disparities and tackling concepts such as the perpetual foreigner and the model minority myth.
  • Speaking up to support other racial and ethnic minorities, intersectional groups, sexual and gender minorities, and mixed identities.

Community Outreach

Good work.

  • Providing real opportunities to engage with AAPI communities on- and off-campus, especially fundraising and volunteering.
  • Establishing partnerships with homegrown, ethical, and AAPI-owned brands and businesses.
